1SA 8:6 But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the
LORD. 7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they
have rejected me as their king.
One of the new phenomenons starting to crop up lately is web churches, complete with professional
clergy, and yes mandatory giving in order to support those clergy. Sound familiar? Now the idea of the body of Jesus gathering
together is of course scriptural, but God has gone to great lengths recently to remove His people from the control of old
dead religious systems that continually exclude His direct leadership.
I believe in the months and years ahead we will indeed see the body of Jesus being brought together
in new and wonderful ways, but it will not come in the form of an old religious system that God is finished with. In these
last days God will be God and that is that. There will be no more people setting up kings for themselves to rule in place
of God's leadership and the only supreme direction giver allowed will be Jesus Himself.
God will indeed appoint leaders for this last harvest and the discernment of the Holy Spirit will
reveal exactly who they are. Many of them will be virtual unknowns that God has kept on the spiritual backside of the desert
of preparation for many very long and grueling years. We must allow God to purge us of all rebellion and serve these people
just as we would serve the Lord because these people only desire to feed His sheep.
Now I don't want to just flat out trash all e-churches if that is in fact something that God is creating
and leading us toward, but if people are just trying to resurrect an old dead religious system and then repackage it into
a new, more convenient electronic box, then we are just wasting our time. In this last move of God in the earth we will see
Jesus ministering through His body 100%. All ministry idolatry will be forbidden.
If God has taken you out of a familiar religious system then do not be quick to jump back into it
unless He has indeed told you to do that. Religious codependence has been drilled into so many people in the form of having
to be "under a covering" that people actually fear not going to an established religious franchise. The only covering we need
is Jesus Christ and those He directly requires us to serve under and obey.
So I just want to encourage you today my friend to keep allowing God to be God in your life, and to
only join yourself to things that He directly tells you to. Jesus will be faithful to guide you. Everyone that ministers needs
to trust God for their income and maybe that isn't so bad. Plus all true spiritual authority comes from God alone and not
from a revamped electronic religious system. So continue to say buh bye to Babylon.
1TI 6:11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
endurance and gentleness.
