MT 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

DA 12:10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

We are entering a time in mankinds history where because of judgments and an antichrist world government, many people will have a very hard time giving love to, or receiving love from others, so that is why we must start learning to love now even when everything around us tells us to protect ourselves and to just harden our hearts. And if ever this world will need God's love and light, it is when things become their most selfish and darkest in the earth.

MT 5:46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?

1CO 13:8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

There are many Christians that have gathered a lot of knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and developed giftings from God, but they have not yet learned to really love people. They are oversensitive to rejection and slights, harsh, unforgiving, and so they learn to guard their hearts to the point where they only love those who show them love back. Loving the hard to love is a real challenge because it takes God's love to love them, not just our fleshly love.

JN 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

LK 17:32 Remember Lot's wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.

Loving the hard to love will cost you your life in many ways, so you must make up your mind beforehand that you are not going to try to save your life in a conflict, even if you could. Love people and show mercy rather than judgment, and sow encouragement rather than criticism. People need the love of God and not the brutal legalism of man. Ask God for His love every day to love people with, and as you learn to die to all pride God's love will prevail.

1CO 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

EPH 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
