The Coming Spiritual Baby Boom
One of the main reasons that we have been set aside from normal life and prepared in the wilderness, is because
there is about to be a great revival in North America and many people will be getting saved all at once. We are about to experience
the biggest spiritual baby boom that this continent and the world has ever seen, and these new babes in Christ are going to
need mature Christians to help them to mature and bear fruit for the kingdom. You may not have seen a lot of people getting
saved recently, or in many years and here’s why. The Church has been in a renovation mode where they are being pruned
to be able to bear more fruit and have a more stable life that is free from sin-habits and character flaws. Healthy fruit
comes from a healthy tree.
These new converts will need a lot of care and attention so that they can grow deep roots and bear fruit that remains.
Just like with human newborns, these spiritual babies will cry a lot, need to be fed a lot, and they will need their stinky
diapers changed a lot. Once they can walk a little, they will get into all kinds of things they shouldn't in the name of exploration.
Once they can talk, they will ask you a thousand questions an hour, and it can make your head spin. Spiritual babies can also
fight with their siblings and do whatever is necessary to fight for attention and approval. These little munchkins can even
cuddle with you one minute, and then bite you the next. It can be very challenging work, but it is well worth it, and you
won't have to do it alone.
MT 28: 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the very end of the age."
Although we may function as parents, we must always remind them and point them to their true Parent,
which is God himself. Spiritual youngsters may try to worship you if you let them, and if you do let them, you will become
their personal God and devil every time something good or bad happens to them in their lives. We must remember that only God
can nourish and care for them properly, and only God deserves all the praise and glory for what He does in their lives. So
if they try to flatter, praise, or make you Holy Ghost Jr. in their lives, we must help them to get their focus back on their
Creator and upon the One who died for them. It is best to steer them away from calling you by some silly title too, just be
brother or sister so and so, and leave it at that.
Promoting and helping these new converts to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit can make all the
difference in the world. He will be their 24 hour teacher, counselor, and mentor, and they will grow much faster with His
help. Also, praying together and showing them how to listen for Gods voice can help to create greater intimacy between them
and God. Don't let them try to use you as a mediator between God and themselves; show them that they can hear God too.
This spiritual baby boom will be parented by many spiritual fathers and mothers, so don't worry about it becoming too overwhelming.
We must allow the Lord to take care of them through us. As you pray for daily strength, anointing, wisdom, love, and patience,
God will then fill you up with what you need to give to them. We can only give to others, what God first gives to us.
So I want to encourage you today that if you have felt spiritually barren all these years, that is
about to change. You are about to become a parent to many, and this will be an exciting and wonderful time to be alive and
to be part of this great new move of God in the earth. This task ahead may sound daunting, but you were born for this exact
moment in time to do this exact thing. Allow the Lord to tie up any lose ends while you are still in the wilderness so that
you don't take those bad habits with you and pass them on to those you disciple. God has plans to use you on a very large
scale to help many and it has taken a lot of preparation time to get you ready. You may feel over your head at times as this
baby boom goes into full swing, but it will continue to drive us all to God. So, get the nursery ready my friend, the spiritual
baby boom is here.
ISA 54:1 "Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who
were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD. 2
"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate
cities. 4 "Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget
the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. 5 For your Maker is your husband-- the LORD Almighty
is his name-- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
