MT 12:48 He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" 49 Pointing to his disciples,
he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister
and mother."
Sometimes it's hard in the wilderness because you tend to lose many meaningful people in your life.
But we must remember that we live in a kingdom where only those who do the will of God in their life will be allowed to be
prominent people in our lives.
LK 18:29 "I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers
or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30 will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the
age to come, eternal life."
We don't stop loving people just because they are not part of our life, but just understand that God's
main focus is to help you to reach spiritual maturity and anything or anyone that would distract or hinder this process must
be released.
GE 37:34 Then Jacob tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and mourned for his son many days. 35 All his
sons and daughters came to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. "No," he said, "in mourning will I go down to the
grave to my son." So his father wept for him.
Jacob knew what it was like to lose someone very dear to him for God's purposes but if you read to
the end of the story God reunited Jacob with Joseph later on. Trust that what God has taken out of your life can be returned
to you later on if it His will.
GE 45:26 They told him, "Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt." Jacob was stunned;
he did not believe them. 27 But when they told him everything Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts Joseph had
sent to carry him back, the spirit of their father Jacob revived.
