The Blessing Of Knowing The Real You

You may get discouraged at times because during the wilderness you are shown all of your faults and shortcomings which you have no power to change apart from God's help, but I want to encourage you today that it is a great blessing and benefit to know your weak areas because then you have the ability to change them. God and Satan already know your weak areas and God wants to correct them, but Satan wants to exploit them to hinder and distract you from doing God's work and fulfilling your call.

Now you know the areas where you fail and you cannot be blindsided by them and tripped up by some demon that wants to get you off track. If you were a military commander would you want to know if there was a weak are in your army before a battle, or would you rather just go into battle and get defeated? Well the Holy Spirit has shown you your weak areas so that He can change and strengthen you. God is even going to use what He helps you to overcome to help others, so do not fear.

So try not to feel bad if there is a problem that has plagued you over the years because God has definite plans to help you to overcome it. Satan loves to criticize and condemn people before their time of change so they will give up or get in their flesh to try to change. Just know that your Father loves you and He has not forgotten about your problem. He knows you want to be free so try to be patient. God eventually gets to everything so just do your best and know that this will turn out for your good.

RO 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
