The Big Picture

JAS 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

In the harsh wilderness your big picture can become very small because most of us have already lived a very restricted and limited life compared to that of others. So it can be easy to look back and think that you had a really substandard life with little to show for it. Satan also likes to exploit this issue and accuse God of neglecting and abusing His children to the point of ruining their lives after they gave and sacrificed everything in order to follow His call.

So if you are sitting here at the end of your wilderness looking at a tiny little picture of a hard crazy life, then just understand that there is a much bigger and more important picture and plan that exists that will lead you to something even greater than all you may have lost. You see, God only restricts the outside to fix and prepare the inside and since we are at the end of man's rule on the earth and will reap God's final harvest here, we must be truly ready.

It takes a lot of time to really go through someones soul and to repair all of the damage that has been done in their life. Even Enoch wasn't ready to be taken to heaven until he was 365 years old, and you have been on the fast track. Besides sin, God has to eradicate all pride, fear, greed, and any other area that we don't love others properly. So as you can see, it is a rather detailed process to be fully and completely prepared to walk in God's power.

God not only needed holy and obedient servants for this last harvest, He needed people that have lived with the common problems that the world struggles with (i.e. addictions etc.) and then fix, heal, and empower them to go minister to everyone else around them that need God's help in the same way. Your life was no mistake my friend, so be patient because the best is still yet to come and as soon as the inside is ready you will see the outside abound.

JER 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
